In the 1980's we developed the 484 Analogue DC drive module and the TAFI, probably the first zero speed, high torque AC VVVF inverter drive on the Market.
By the 1990's, we found it difficult to match the investment being made by companies such as - Siemens, ABB, SSD and Control Techniques.
A strategic decision was made to withdraw from drive module manufacture and concentrate on the companies expertise in applications. Partnerships were sought to provide us with the building blocks to enable us to use our proven application knowledge with the latest digital technology.
