IAC Security taken to a new level

Electrical systems integrator, Industrial Automation & Control Ltd (IAC) of Newport, South Wales has expanded its operation with the acquisition of the Shawley product range of CCTV control systems equipment, to be incorporated into the IAC Security product portfolio.

The Shawley brand has established itself as one of the cornerstone products within the CCTV industry over the past 30 years. It is this impressive reputation and its desire to continue to deliver a quality product to its customers that attracted IAC. The Shawley brand means reliable, quality equipment for machine monitoring as well as security operations. The equipment is ruggedized and has a proven track record over many years. It has been used in a number of applications, including public, commercial and military establishments.

Joanne Twynham, Commercial Office Manager at IAC Security, has moved the operation into IAC’s premises in Newport and has already secured major orders for equipment from overseas and UK customers. She can reassure former Shawley customers that they can still get service and support from the new owners, with the added incentive of knowing that IAC’s 24/7 service team will be on hand to provide world wide cover for the equipment. Joanne Twynham, stated “we are excited to be resurrecting the Shawley product range and services as IAC Security. Being part of such a well established Company with such a vast engineering expertise is obviously a huge benefit and we are looking forward to developing the brand.”
